Full Access Cards
Patrons 18 and older
Blanchard Community Library cards are available to California residents or to anyone who can provide valid identification and a California mailing address.
To register for a library card, you must present a valid form of identification and verification of your current California mailing address.
Acceptable forms of address verification include:
- California Driver's License / government-issued ID with current address
- any check with name and address imprinted
- current utility bill
- piece of mail, postmarked within the last week
Patrons 17 and under
To receive a Juvenile card, patrons must be 17 years of age or younger. A parent or legal guardian must be present and show identification and proof of mailing address.
Welcome Card
Welcome Cards
A Welcome Card is available to California residents who are unable to provide proof of a permanent address. Apply in person at the library and present a photo ID.
Adults (18+)
- Must be a California resident.
- Must present a government-issued valid photo ID.
- No proof of address is required.
Children (17 and under)
- Must apply in person.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present and provide identification.
Acceptable Forms of ID
- Government-issued photo IDs (driver's licenses, passports, military IDs, consular IDs, permanent resident cards, and similar documents)
- Student IDs
- Professional, vocational, or union photo IDs
- Other credible photo IDs, such as bank, transit, or membership card
Homebound Patrons
The Library's Books by Mail program is a free service provided to residents of Blanchard Community Library’s service area who are not able to visit the library and are considered homebound.

Temporary eCard Registration (for ages 13 & up)
Residents of Santa Paula can get immediate 24/7 access to online services without having to visit a library. eCards are good for 3 months only. To get a permanent card, please visit the library with the proper ID and proof of address. Apply here.
